Do you have the ability to teach a small class of 6 students with profound and multiple learning difficulties? Can you differentiate your lessons to meet each students needs as well as making them creative and enjoyable for students working on P Levels? The School - Special Needs Teacher This Special Needs School is found in the London Borough of Lambeth and benefits from many transport links making it easily accessible both by public transport and by car. They cater for students in primary and secondary from 3 - 19 years that have PMLD, Autism, SLD, MLD and other physical and medical needs. This school make it their goal to provide first class education and support to their students, promoting independence and wellbeing at all times. The Role - Special Needs School For this Special Needs Teacher role based in Lambeth, you must be a fully qualified teacher that ideally has experience teaching the primary national curriculum as well as some experience or knowledge on the EYFS. You will be required to tseach a class of 6 students, all of whom have profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), these students will be in the secondary side of the school and you will have a choice of either a KS3 or KS4 class. This role is start ASAP on a temporary basis, to then go permanent after two terms. To take on this role effectively, you must have an understanding as well as the ability to differentiate your lessons to meet and accommodate the needs of the students in your class. In doing so, you must also ensure that your lessons are creative so that all students engage and enjoy your lessons.
