Trainee IT Support Engineer Dorset, DT11 £13,000 - £18,000 + Company Van Do you have an interest in IT and want to work with a company who really value their employees? Our client has a brilliant opportunity for a technically minded individual who wants to join their company as a trainee and work their way up the career ladder. Your "apprenticeship" will start in the procurement / purchasing department to ensure that all parts and licences are placed on time and that stock management is kept upto date. Your role will also include visiting customer sites to deliver and do basic instalations of computers and other IT equipment. You will be working closely with all departments and in particular you will be learning from the team of IT Support Engineers. This will give you the foundations to help you progress within the business, along with an ongoing and varied external training schedule. About You: Ideally you will be able to demonstrate your passion and knowledge of IT through your education background whether this is A levels, BTEC or degree. However, if you have work experience or other practicle IT / technical skills then we would love to hear from you. Most importantly, your interest in IT and all thing tech, with a desire to develop a career within this field, is essential! It also goes without saying that you must also demonstrate excellent communication skills, good presentation skills (you will be seeing customers on a face to face basis) and keen attention to detail. You will be given a van to use to get to and from work, but ideally you will live within 15-20 miles from Blanford (DT11). Why you should consider this Trainee IT job?
