Our Learning Support department require an additional Teaching Support Assistants, who are qualified in communicating through British Sign Language, to join the team in October 2017. These additional roles are to support students who use British Sign Language (BSL) as a primary means of communication, in and out of the classroom. You will be developing trusted rapport with students requiring BSL, as well as working closely with Lecturers in ensuring that the content of learning is communicated effectively. The role of a Teaching Support Assistant to a student requiring Sign Language support is invaluable and makes this role even more rewarding.
