The Role

The DevOps role at TTC is important and well recognised by business, management and development. You will be an integral part of the development team. You will be supporting and continuously improving infrastructure, application and security design and implementation. You will play a key part in operations automation: environment provisioning, deployment and testing.

We run about 20 production and 60 internal systems in cloud, hybrid and datacentre environments.If you can challenge existing infrastructure both in cloud and on premises, promote excellence and continuously improve deployments and security standards, then this is for you!

Duties and Responsibilities

Work closely with development and operation teams to design and maintain cloud and datacentre infrastructurePlay a key role in operations automation: environments, deployments and testingBe responsible for supporting the development team with datacentre infrastructure implementationsProvide the business with proactive systems monitoring: infrastructure, software and business KPIsBe a part of a global operations team and be there to support high profile launchesTake ownership of issues and own them through to resolutionBe a DevOps evangelist both inside and outside the dev shop and help maintain a healthy, inquisitive cultureExperience and Skills

  • Experience with large scale deployments (high availability, scalability, resilience, API security)
  • Excellence in AWS technologies, CLI and API
  • Experience with datacentre infrastructure (networking, firewall config, security)
  • Solid experience with CI and/or CD (GitHub, TeamCity, Jenkins, CodeDeploy, ECS, Docker)
  • Excellent knowledge of Linux, TCP/IP fundamentals, network design
  • Experience with Windows administration
  • Experience of working in an Agile development environment
