Role - Technical Services Manager Salary - £45,000 Location - West London Currently recruiting for a Technical Services Manager, our client is looking for someone who has experience in either Technical Services management or Quality Systems management. The company is looking for someone who has experience managing and coaching a team. Also someone who has a self-starting pragmatic and can do approach. This successful company is known to be a leading international manufacturer that is committed to supplying quality, value and service to a wide variety of clients. They work with well-known food retailers nationwide and due to the business' constant growth they are looking for an experienced Technical Services Manager to join their business. The Technical Services Manager's Key Responsibilities will be: *Manage the raw materials operation on site ensuring all raw materials are assessed for compliance to internal and customer standards from development through to launch. *Ensure that raw material compliance is regularly reviewed and approval status is maintained and to ensure information required during 3rd party/customer audits is maintained and available. *With HACCP - ensure that there is a systematic, comprehensive system that is implemented and maintained. It is reviewed and updated annually and / or in line with changes to process, equipment or product. *With specifications - effectively manage the completion of finished product specifications to meet critical path and / or customer requirements ensuring right first time. *Effectively manage non-conformances and customer complaints which relate to materials ensuring that there are logged, notified to the supplier as appropriate for investigation, with effective response action in a timely manner. *Positively communicate technical issues and updated by the most appropriate communication channels. To collate information relating to food issues / scares and similar events and communicated to Technical Management Team and other key business interfaces as required. *Lead the customer complaints reduction initiative for the site, encouraging input and commitment from others and agreeing action plans which are then published and monitored for completion and effectiveness. *Support the Technical Manager, QA Manager and Compliance Manager where help is needed. The Technical Services Manager's Essential's will be: *A Bachelor's degree in Food Science or an equivalent. *HACCP Level 3 *Lead Auditor Training or qualifications *Detailed experience in a similar role. *Experience managing and coaching a team To apply for the role please click apply!
