An exciting Purchase Ledger role within a well established Preston based business
Your new company
A well-established business based on the outskirts of Preston are seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a permanent basis. The business has been trading over 40 years, and they pride themselves on being market leaders in their sector.
Your new role
Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant you will be part of a large team. Working within the purchase ledger team you will be responsible for the processing up to 300 invoices per week. This will involve matching and coding invoices, statement reconciliation, managing complex invoice queries and accruing payment for deductions at month end.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application you must have experience within Purchase Ledger or a similar role. You're hardworking, focused and not afraid of putting in extra hours when required to ensure deadlines are met. Previous experience on an accounting system is also desirable.
What you'll get in return
In return you will be rewarded with a competitive salary, which is paying up to £19,000 depending on experience. You will be entitled to 22 days holiday + 8 statutory days. Working hours are 8.30 - 5pm Monday to Friday and parking is available on site. You will be working in a friendly and supportive team who all work very well together, they believe in having a good balance in the office and have a positive culture.
