This leading global industrial engineering and manufacturing business is looking to appoint an experienced Financial Planning Manager to manage staff of budget analysts in development, analysis and execution of budgets. You will ensure budget plans and operations align with company goals and objectives and will have control of an annual budget of 0-£20m. Commutable from: Birmingham, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Alcester, Stratford on Avon, Kidderminster, Coventry Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 p.a. + Car + Bonus + Benefits Suitable for: Financial Planning Manager, Finance Manager, Financial Accountant, Financial Planner, Financial Planning Analyst, Accounting Manager, FPA Manager The Role Reporting directly to the UK Finance Director, the Financial Planning Manager will be responsible to; Examine budget estimates for completeness, accuracy and conformance with policies, procedures, and regulations. Present results of budget analysis to senior management and make recommendations for enhancing profitability. Oversee the preparation of various financial reports including budget estimates, plans or analysis. Review financial reports and reporting methods. Ensure department-wide implementation of established budgeting policies and procedures. Schedule projects with budget analysts and monitors progress. Work closely with personnel in other departments to ensure compliance with financial systems policies and procedures. Adheres to the procedures of the company manual. Develop and mentor a competent workforce through recruitment, training, coaching and establishing goals and objectives that drive the organisation. The Person You will be qualified to Bachelors' Degree in Accounting or Finance or finalist in ACCA/CIMA. You will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a large multinational manufacturing or engineering or distribution based organisation or public accounting in a similar financial planning position. Must have a thorough knowledge of budgeting, cash management and financial analysis processes. Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organisation and with excellent analytical, time management, organisation and decision-making skills. Proficient in all Microsoft applications as well as Lotus Notes, SAP and Cognos.
