Sales Manager: (Satellite & Mobile Telecom) Background Based in central London, this enterprise is a leading provider of satellite data communications services in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. They've designed and launched high throughput satellites in space. The satellites, ground stations and their proprietary cloud software deliver unmatched levels of performance, service and resilience. The customer base is growing fast and includes many of the world's leading telecoms and media companies, together with government clients with civil and security requirements. It is an exciting company and an exciting place to work. They are currently making significant investments in technology both in space and across EMEA. You You will be looking for a new challenge. You will have experience of new business development and the capability to account manager a large account circa £10m. Account management will require 50% of your time and the rest is new business. You will be from a mobile telecom, infrastructure provider, network management service provider, MNO or provider of SaaS to the telecom sector. Duties & responsibilities - Achieve the agreed business and sales objectives; - Maintain relationship with partners and equipment vendors to maximise commercial advantage; - Use familiarity with client procurement processes/RFPs/RFIs to ensure competitive advantage; - Develop and maintain relationships with customers at all levels - Map strategy for commercial expansion/existing customer retention; - Drive business case generation, approval and implementation; - Attend relevant industry events, trade shows, other PR activities etc.; - Travel within EMEA Skills & qualifications - Experience across telecom Carrier accounts; - Experience with Managed Networks, Transmission and RAN; - Proactive and entrepreneurial; - Ability to define client requirements; Desirable - Ability to speak another European language; - Experience in a mobile telecoms infrastructure/services supplier.
