An exciting fixed term opportunity for a dynamic and proactive Purchase Ledger clerk based in Rossendale

Your new organisation is a leading brand within it's field. This organisation is currently recruiting for this role due to a member of the purchase ledger team moving over into another finance field. This role is a 12 month fixed term contract.
Your new role
Within your new role, you will be expected to carry out the end to end process of the purchase ledger, with the some of the following duties required; invoice matching, supplier statement reconciliations, carrying out payment runs via BACS, purchase ledger monthly close off and setting up / maintaining supplier accounts. On top of this, there will be further duties and responsibilities expected of you.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, it would be beneficial to have at least 2 years working experience within Purchase Ledger and be extremely confident on Excel. An individual with a confident approach to both their workload and that of learning new skills would be beneficial. Working knowledge of Sage will be desirable.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive fortnightly aftercare by your dedicated Hays consultant, along with a competitive salary. This role will be a full time 12 month fixed term contracts, with the hours of work being 08:30 - 17:00 Monday - Friday with an hour for lunch.
