As a Logistics Process Engineer, your role will involve delivering complex solutions to a wide range of challenges. You will need to liaise directly with other departments and individuals. We require somebody with the skills and training to help us plan the efficient running or our internal material handling system. Key Responsibilities: * Plan and manage internal part storage locations * Oversee and ensure part racking is ordered and in place prior to launch of new product * Oversee the calculation and development of internal generic packaging standards for new product * Using MIFA (Material and Information Flow Analysis) tools, look to optimize and streamline the department in order to make cost savings without affecting efficiency * Develop and implement system for calculating and monitoring manning requirements * Maintain quality and safe working practices and work within all policies and procedures Logistics Process Engineer | Process Engineer | Project Management | Six Sigma | Lean Manufacturing | ERP Systems Essential Criteria: * Analytical approach to improve efficiency - setting standards * Self-motivated and can work under pressure * Has a can-do attitude and can overcome obstacles with a team approach * Embraces change, always looking for a better way * Lean Manufacturing Techniques * Ability to interpret technical drawings and CAD * High Level of computer skills * Excellent planning skills * Health and Safety Awareness * Quality Awareness * Environmental Awareness * Good attendance and time-keeping Additional Salary Information: Fixed Term Contract or Self Employed Contractor 18 months About Us: We are a well-known and first-class automotive engineering and manufacturing business that supply into the automotive sector on a first and second tier basis.
