Main activities: Safety Product Development Specialist This is a really exciting time to join, as you will come aboard from the start of the development and can grow and develop your career. My Client is looking to develop a Safety Product Development Specialist who will overtime lead in safety product development having built up his or her knowledge of existing safety products and services. The candidate will be a developing specialised professional who will become key to defining the product and service roadmap. A current emphasis of the work will be the introduction of new service developments and the on-boarding of new Distribution Partners .The role will involve international travel for regulatory and project meetings. Developing external partner relationships with clients and internal teams to ensure structured, disciplined product delivery according to industry standard project and programme practices. The candidate will become expert in core safety service delivery and development of Classic Aero enhancements, SwiftBroadband Safety, the Iris Programme and definition of new flight tracking and monitoring capabilities often defining and managing trials and evaluation projects. Ideal candidate's profile: Essential Technical background in aviation surveillance or communications technology and/or background in telecommunications (satellite or VHF datalink) Proven competence in delivering successful communications or information technology programmes in a complex business / technical environment Knowledge of IP communication systems and/or aviation protocols and/or aviation surveillance systems Experience of technical integration projects / programmes Ability to travel internationally Desirable Experience in procuring complex IT/data processing systems Knowledge of aviation equipment installation and certification processes Knowledge of satellite communications Aviation surveillance systems Knowledge of aviation communications protocols; FANS/ACARS and ATN communication Experience of managing Testing and Acceptance projects Previous work for Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs) Air Traffic Control Microsoft XL and statistical analysis Report writing Additional Information - Based: London or USA - Salary: Neg - Job type: Permanent If you are interested in applying for this position and you meet the requirements, please send your updated CV to: Julie Hall Due to the number of applications we receive, it's not always possible to contact unsuccessful applicants.
