We are looking for driven and motivated individuals to begin or continue their financial service career with EMCAS. EMCAS have a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee Claims Handler / Claims Administrator to join our team in Paignton on a full time permanent basis. We Offer; - No weekend working - Great central town location - Pension - Child Care Vouchers - Eye Care vouchers - 28 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays) - Genuine career progression and development opportunities THE ROLE You will be processing high volumes of cases, quickly towards resolving the client's claim. This involves completing questionnaires with existing clients in order to strengthen their case and writing bespoke complaints to providers where necessary. This role also requires analysis of information received from banks & providers in order to progress each case effectively. - Analysing information provided by clients, banks and providers. - Providing exceptional customer service by updating clients on inbound and outbound calls and via written/electronic communications. - Identifying non-compliant complaints and liaising with the Claims Handling Supervisor(s). - To develop good working relationships with all colleagues. - Any other related administrative tasks as required. - Maintain and manage all clients' data with confidentiality. THE PERSON - Use of Microsoft Office applications, Word and Excel. - Has good experience in a similar role or possesses transferable skills. - Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written. - High level of accuracy - both literary and numerical. - Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment & dealing with high volumes of telephone calls, outbound and inbound. - Possesses a confident telephone manner and is able to deal effectively with customers. HOURS / PAY Working Monday to Friday we offer full time 40 hours to work on a flexible basis: The office is open between 8.30am and 8.00pm, therefore you can choose your working hours between those times ie 8.30am - 5.30pm or 11.00am to 8.00pm. Perhaps you would like to work two early and three late shifts per week.
