Test and Service Engineer, paying £33,500 base salary, rising to £37,500 after a successful probationary period, OTE £65-70k Benefits include paid overtime, employer contributions pension and healthcare insurance. Covering UK and global clients, this role requires extensive worldwide travel. The Role - Test and Service Engineer - Responsible for electrical and mechanical 'in house' testing, installation, maintenance and servicing of Friction Welding Machines and all associated equipment. - Provide training to customers on all machinery. - Provide on site and remote technical support to customers. - Liaise with customers at all levels in a professional manner, in order to promote a positive company image at all times. - The role will involve extensive overseas travel. The Person - Test and Service Engineer Essential Requirements for this Role are: - Previous experience of working as a Maintenance / Service Engineer. - Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering qualification. - PLC fault finding experience (Allen Bradley preferred) - Experience of fault finding on AC/DC drives - Excellent understanding and experience of fault finding on hydraulic systems. - Must have experience of maintaining machines used for metal forming, machining or welding - For example power presses, machining centres, injection moulders, extruders, lathes, grinders, borers etc. - Previous experience of working with customers at all levels. - Able to travel at short notice. - Full valid driving licence. - Live within commutable distance of Halesowen If you are a qualified and experienced Field Service Engineer / Maintenance Engineer looking for a new opportunity, please contact Leona Pinks at Avanti Solutions (UK) Ltd.
