Job Description Currently looking for an IT apprentice to join a pioneering organic cosmetics company based in the Horsham area. The role will involve being first point of contact for all IT queries, prioritising task and maintaining IT Systems. Duties/ Responsibilities - Being first point of contact for all enquiries, both via phone and email. - Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including server and client operating systems and across a range of software applications. - Maintain the virtual/physical server and network infrastructure to ensure systems have minimal down time - Patch and monitor all virtual/physical servers as required. - Assist all our users with any logged IT related incident when called upon. - Install and configure new IT equipment and resolve incidents and upgrade different types of software and hardware - Resolve incidents with printers, copiers and company mobile devices - Maintain a first class level of customer service ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently and in an appropriate manner. - Moving and handling resources - Managing and replenishing IT consumables - Liaising with the IT consultancy used by Green People Qualities / essential requirements: - Personable, confident and articulate - Have a genuine passion for marketing and all things digital - Highly organised, with an ability to work to deadlines, and to plan and prioritise tasks effectively - Good copy writing skills and a keen eye for detail - Some knowledge of Photoshop and other Adobe Applications Desired Qualifications The candidate will have at least 5 GCSE's (C and above) including Maths and English and be excited to begin a career in IT.
