Apprenticeship Training Manager Chessington with some UK travel to other sites £50,000-£60,000 The Apprenticeship Programme Manager will be responsible for working within the Learning and Development team to lead the delivery of the new Apprenticeship Scheme. The role has been created in order to support the Apprenticeship Scheme, which has been implemented in order to maximise the return on investment of the apprenticeship levy. Sat within Learning and Development, the apprenticeship scheme has been designed to shape new the training programme, as well as add academic rigour and external endorsement of this structured programme. The role will play a pivotal role in supporting both Apprentices and Managers as well as leading the design of the programmes delivered by the Apprenticeship team. This role will include 1-1 coaching, training delivery and monitoring apprenticeship progress. THE ROLE: - Developing and managing the pastoral care of Apprentices and the impact that this will have on their line managers - Taking a lead responsibility for the continued design and development of the Apprenticeship Programme. - Support and guide the teams in the development of resources for the apprenticeship programme focussing specifically on compliance with awarding body (such as OfSTED) guidelines. - Providing first line support to managers in the delivery of apprenticeship training. The will include guiding them in the work based assessment process. (1-1, 1-many, by phone and face to face support.) - Problem solving, motivating and guiding managers and Apprentices throughout their learning journeys - Support the Head of Apprenticeships in the management of data reporting to external agencies as required - Attend meetings (internal and external) representing the apprenticeship team where required Candidate Specification: Apprenticeship delivery (desirable but not essential) - L&D experience preferable - Experience of writing reports and presenting information to a range of stakeholders - Can demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills - Can demonstrate tenacity, energy and enthusiasm. - Show Self-motivation and problem solving - The ability to analyse and compile information - The ability to plan ahead and manage their own - and others' - time - Proficient in the use of a range of computer packages such as MS Excel, MS Word and databases Reed Specialist Recruitment is an Employment Agency and an Employment Business for permanent and temporary recruitment.
