Job Description Job Title: IT Technical Support Engineer Location: Wakefield Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 pa. + competitive benefits package This is a unique opportunity to work with an award winning global organisation who are leaders in their field, based in Wakefield, Yorkshire. About the role An T Technical Support Engineer is required to assist in the management, monitoring and maintenance of customer IT systems and networks. You will be required to facilitate and assist in the diagnosis of issues in conjunction with the extended Help Desk and Network Operations Centre in order to solve customer technical problems. The role will span several areas of expertise including server operating systems, virtualisation, AD, WAN, LAN, network and systems security, hardware and common software. It will also include tasks such as on-boarding new customers, managing support tickets, and conducting network audits.
