Reed Accountancy & Finance are currently working with a well-established and reputable client within the manufacturing industry who are recruiting for a Payroller to join their team. This is a full time permanent opportunity. The Role: Reporting to the Head of Human Resources and working as part of the finance team, the post holder will be responsible for the weekly and monthly payroll and associated tasks including some HR administration. More specific duties will involve: Responsible for processing weekly & monthly payroll for 260 employees through Opera software Ensuring tax codes and other associated employee details are maintained Liaising with HR Manager in terms of new starters, leavers, and pension obligations Responsibility for PAYE, NICs and statutory reporting and associated statutory payments Liaise with HR colleagues re absence, benefits, contractual information and associated reporting Production and distribution of payslips P11d production & reporting The Person Candidates will have previous experience of working in a similar role dealing with a high volume payroll in a commercial environment. Candidates will work well under pressure, will have excellent communication skills and will have a good working knowledge of Opera software. Candidates will have excellent organisational skills and will be comfortable working in a stand-alone role.
