We're looking for a Microscopy Product Manager to drive the commercial success of a raw material segment, becoming the face of a ?4 billion microscopy organisation, delivering cutting edge products on a global scale. The role This role is a unique opportunity, offering you a balance of sales success and product involvement allowing you to progress through the organisation rapidly. Due to our clients new approach within sales, they have chosen to align their products by market segment than product segment; ultimately meaning that you will focus your work alongside the raw materials industries - glass, rubber compounds and ceramics etc. If you have previous experience marketing and working commercially within this space - you are half way there! Within this role, you will be responsible for interfacing with clients and customers proposing solutions, whilst thinking in terms of the business model of market growth and profitability. There will also be tasks surrounding product roadmaps, marketing campaigns, analysis and monitoring of your portfolios. Excellent communication skills are a necessity within any sales based role. This role is based in Cambridge and will require national and international travel - giving you an excellent opportunity to explore different markets within various countries. The requirements You will be commercially driven and aside from this you will: - Have a PHD/Masters qualification in a relevant discipline. - Scientific, Engineering, Materials. - Be able to analyse market growth, share and customer requirements. - Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Have strong relationship building skills to build rapport with various clients. - Experience working with raw material industries - ceramic, glass, rubber compound spaces. Etc. - The ability to commercially drive projects through businesses to achieve targets.
