Product Manager Perm Ilminster Fulltime £35k-£40k Do you have 5solid years' experience in project Management, preferably within the manufacturing industry? Do you have full understanding of project documentation, MS project plans or equivalent? Do you have experience of Product Management and Market Analysis? If you have experience within the ecommerce sector this will also be a bonus? I am working alongside a highly dynamic, forward thinking and professional organisation who have a new role within their business. Within this role you will play a crucial part in introducing and developing methods and procedures, ultimately leading to the project management of key developments and initiatives within the business. This will include planning on time delivery of new products and to assist the evaluation of both current and new product range initiatives from start to finish. You will also be responsible for building effective systems/ procedures. You will also be responsible for driving key milestones in the execution of new product development and other pivotal initiatives by liaising with internal function teams (R&D, Marketing and Operations). This role will need to manage all facets of development, from planning to implementation, managing target deliverables, reporting progress and achieving continuous improvement via excellent communication. Your day tod ay duties will include: - To plan, implement and deliver new products on time and within cost controls - Plan, develop and execute product launch marketing plans and support post launch campaigns alongside Marketing - Manage day-to-day operational aspects of multiple projects - Identify and plan for risks and provide alternative solutions - Oversee project progress over multiple sites and brands - Assist in preparation and development of the product roadmap and product range requirement based on vice of the customer, competitor and market analysis - Review market trends to ensure that the business are at the forefront of product development and emerging markets with unrivalled marketing prowess - To ensure product document are complete, current and appropriately stored. - To submit monthly project status reports to a senior team & stakeholders; review status on a day-to-day basis to enable anticipation of, and reaction to change - To work within a small team to grow the product side of the business. - Liaise with internal parties and core partners to keep track of all critical milestones If you feel this role is the perfect next step for you, please contact Jessica Harmer in branch for a confidential chat!
