External Sales Engineer / Sales Manager / Business Development Manager required to join a leading distributor of electrical control gear, PLC's and process instrumentation products. The successful Sales Engineer / Sales Manager / Business Development Manager must have a proven technical sales background within the process industry, ideally selling process instrumentation, sensors (Pressure, level, flow) or similar. Package Salary to £35-40K dependant on experience 23 days holiday plus bank holidays Pension Company car Bonus Responsibilities As a Sales Engineer / Sales Manager you will work from home, covering the North of the UK Preparation of quotations and proposals Ability to interface with customers at all levels and have the technical and investigative skills to identify process opportunities and drive them to a successful conclusion Liaise with all major suppliers & engineering departments You will be responsible for the management of client accounts in designated region or by other specified grouping Preparing for and visiting clients to sell process instrumentation, sensors (Pressure, level, flow) and associated product as well as offering application and technical advice Account management and new business development Requirements Previously held a similar position of Sales Engineer / Sales Manager / Account Manager / Business Development Manager Knowledge of process instrumentation and sensors A comprehensive technical knowledge of the process industry and associated products.
