Our client is a fast moving and dynamic energy consultancy with ambitious growth plans over the next five years. They provide a range of services to our clients, from gas and electricity procurement to energy efficiency reporting and analytics. We also offer services in related utility areas, such as telecoms, water and waste. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join their vibrant and passionate team. They are looking for someone to build and improve upon their existing marketing strategy and so this role will be a perfect fit for someone who is looking to create and implement their own plans. You will have an opportunity to completely shake up and transform their marketing activity to achieve better client attraction and retention. As the sole marketing resource, you will be expected to be involved at all levels, with an emphasis on digital marketing campaigns, lead generation and monitoring competitor activity . The job is truly multi-faceted and so you will need to be able to turn your hand to a variety of tasks. DUTIES WILL INCLUDE: - Create, implement and be accountable for the company's marketing strategy, working closely with the managing directors and the sales team - Oversee and manage the development and maintenance of a digital strategy - Website maintenance - Work with the Managing Directors and sales team on the production of sales-orientated promotional campaigns as needed - Ensure that the brand is well communicated across all marketing communications - Undertake, critically analyse and react to marketing research exercises as required - Manage directly and strategically all social media channels - Lead generation - Attend networking events as required - Write and manage the creation of marketing material, including PowerPoint presentations, proposals and client reports - Proofread and approve all company documentation - Manage all ongoing projects and day-to-day marketing activity ESSENTIAL SKILLS - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Proven business awareness with commercial acumen - Proven knowledge and application of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts - A digital native, with experience of implementing and conducting digital campaigns - Proficiency in MS Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint skills - Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign / Illustrator/Photoshop - Ability to think creatively with the ability and confidence to use initiative - Ability to manage expectations and push-back where needed - Persuasive and diplomatic - Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders - Copywriting/proofing skills - WordPress DESIRABLE SKILLS - Previous experience in the energy sector - A degree in marketing - Additional European language - HTML UNFORTUNATELY WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO RESPOND TO SHORT-LISTED CANDIDATES
