Are you an EC&I Technician looking for your next opportunity? Due to company growth, a client of ours, in the Cheshire area, is looking to expand their current Engineering team. What does the job involve? As the EC&I Technician you will provide Engineering support for routine schedules maintenance activities on Electrical, Control and Instrumentation systems. The role will require you to: - Act as a first line call out service to respond to client requests to attend site, carry out initial fault finding, implement repair and return the system back to an operational condition. - Carry out site based installation, commissioning and setting to work of equipment and instrumentation associated with modifications, upgrades or replacement of existing EC&I systems. - Procure replacement equipment through a Materials Requisition process. - Panel build and internal wiring to general arrangements, wiring diagrams, parts lists, etc. as part of a design package produced by others. - Survey existing EC&I systems and control panels to mark-up associated drawings for further CAD modifications by others. What skills and experience do you need? - HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering - 17th edition electrical wiring regulations - Experience of working on industrial sites in heavily regulated sectors and operating - under a Permit to Work system - Familiar with Health & Safety best practice - Production of risk assessments and method statements - Panel wiring - Acceptance testing - Microsoft Office proficient What are the pay and benefits? £20,000 - £25,000 doe.
