The main focus of Mirus it to provide IT support in London, Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas. You will be part of a committed IT Services company providing high quality IT services. The aim is to provide the level of support a business would expect to receive from an internal IT team. Experience You will be a On-site IT Support Engineer and part of the On-site Team that is managed by Adam Risby, Service Delivery Manager who is based from our head office in Wymbush, Milton Keynes . The On-site IT Support Engineer will be working with Mirus IT's client who is based in Central London supporting their users at head office and remote supporting additional sites in London. You will also have the support from Senior IT Support Engineers who are based in Milton Keynes for anything that needs to be escalated. The key responsibility for the On-site IT Support Engineer is to provide technical software, hardware and network problem resolutions to client technical problems. You will also perform problem diagnosis and guide users through step-by-step solutions in a desktop support based environment. There is also the need to provide one-to-one end user training and ensure site technical documentation is maintained. For this you will have: - - 2-3 years' experience as a Service Desk Engineer supporting SME's; - Experience of working in a finance, legal, insurance, consultancy or another corporate customer facing role; - Familiar with working to SLA's to meet both customer and contract requirements; - Desirable is to have industry recognised certifications i.e. MCSE, MCP, VCP, CCNA etc. Technical Skill-set Windows Server Technologies (2008 to 2012) and Exchange 2010 + - Troubleshooting issues. Active Directory - Configure new users; - New OU's; - Configure sites and services; - Resolve issues. Office 365 - Install, configure and troubleshoot issues PC / Server Hardware - Upgrade, both hardware and firmware; - Raid configurations, iLO. DNS - Understanding of DNS. Group Policies - Understanding and Basic troubleshoot issues. Firewalls - Understanding and Basic troubleshoot issues. Colleague Benefits As a services business, we don't have a product to sell.
