Role Purpose: - Manage and control access to, and work on Rail Station Assets Accountabilities: - Monitor faults, defects and failures using PC based systems and identify and requisition repairs to assets - Arrange for and carry out preventative and corrective maintenance to assets across various Rail Stations - Record incidents that occur on the railway. Ensure accurate records are maintained. Contribute to any enquiry resulting from an incident. Update the Client accordingly. - Ensure that good customer relations are maintained at all times. Ensure that any personal customer interface projects a good image of our Client. - Supervise and assist work of General Operatives. - Carry out Supervison of persons working on or about the trackside or associated to the Client. - Maintain good record of punctuality and work attendance - Observe all the rules as laid down in the Clients handbook - Carry out safety responsibilities in accordance with the appropriate Client Safety Responsibility Statement. - Manage risk assessments, method statements and all other safety related documentation. Knowledge, Skills and Experience - A good standard of numeracy and literacy - Ability to use a PC - Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel - Experience of safety management systems - Rail industry experience - The required permits to carry out work on the railway - Prioritisation and planning skills - Electrical or Electronic Background - Good communication skills - Current Driving Licence Reed Specialist Recruitment is an Employment Agency and an Employment Business for permanent and temporary recruitment.
