We have a fantastic opportunity for a Bill and Collect Analyst to join a leading organisation in their joint venture based in Stoke-on-Trent. The client is a well-established leader in Energy and Utilities having joined forces with 2 of the leading figures in the industry. They specialise in account management and efficiency advice for business customers across the UK. The role offers the chance for the right individual on a permanent basis. The Bill and Collect Analyst will report into the Senior Analyst where the primary objective is to ensure the data is analysed as requested and presented in various formats for the management team. Responsibilities - To ensure daily trackers, reports and forecasting tools are updated and presented - To provide analytical insight into the data reported to show trends, potential issues and opportunities - To provide analysis using SQL and MI tools on effectiveness - To support the team leaders in their team and agent reporting requirements - To work with the MI/BI team - To prepare presentation's and insight to the management team on back office activities - Work with the billing team controller and Senior Credit Analyst to ensure a joined up approach Skills, Knowledge and Behaviour - Data quality management concepts - T-SQL - Detailed data analysis and presentation - Knowledge of utility billing and revenue management - Experience of process changes and business improvement - Excellent analytical and problem solving skills - Ability to quickly identify trends - Excellent communication skills - Creates and develops meaningful and relevant communications - Ability to manage own development - Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment - Effective personal skills and interaction with others - Excellent organisational skills and time management Benefits of the role - Salary of £23-25.5k plus benefits - Opportunity to work in a vibrant, city centre environment with great people - Monday to Friday hours with No weekends! - 25 days holiday plus bank holidays - Car parking space in a city centre location - Pension scheme - Childcare vouchers Please note successful candidates will be subject to a criminal background check.
