Our Corporate Marketing team is building the Aviva brand for businesses of all sizes, from large multi-national corporates to local SMEs to tech start-ups. We're looking for candidates with a strong marketing background to join us. We've got jobs available in our Bristol and York offices. There are two positions available, a permanent and an a FTC. Please specify your preference when submitting you application Are you up for a challenge? What's the job? You'll be working as a manager in the corporate direct trading team. In this role you will support the marketing led contribution to the corporate business targets through existing, new and emerging markets within the corporate landscape. The team will create and deliver a fully integrated marketing strategy and plan that meets commercial and strategic objectives in the large corporate and SME markets across Life, Health and GI lines. The team will focus on: - Direct trading campaigns to acquire and grow 'businesses' (SME & large corporates) across the composite - Direct trading campaigns to grow and retain workplace customers - Campaigns to drive My Aviva / My Aviva for business registrations, being a key interface with UKD customer on-boarding & My Aviva marketing teams - Campaigns and interventions to deliver Workplace (large corporate and SME) retention targets Duties and responsibilities If you get this job, you'll be: - Develop clear, credible and consistent marketing communications delivery of our key messages using activity across the marketing mix, with a specific focus on digital channels - Develop improved data marketing capability (data management and campaign automation) working with the corporate digital performance, channel optimisation and broader UK Digital and direct teams - Create a clear measurement framework for assessing campaign performance, working with the channel performance team - and provide tactical performance updates as required - Build strong, collaborative working relationships with key BU Distribution teams to ensure commercial credibility of the team and clear understanding of required outcomes - Build strong relationships with Digital teams and our media partner agency to ensure both marketing activity and digital journeys are optimised to drive optimal return on investment - Create strong working partnerships with the wider Marketing function and approval and operations teams to ensure a consistent and compelling communications across the customer journey Skills and experience - Strong knowledge and experience of multi-channel marketing - Experience of end-to-end marketing delivery with proven personal ownership of campaigns - Strong experience of identifying and leading innovative marketing activity - Proven track record for communications delivery, on time and to budget - Excellent planning and proactive stakeholder management - Strong understanding of key marketing metrics and focus on trading performance - Challenges respectfully and comfortably - Strong planning and proactive stakeholder management - Deep understanding of SME market - Broad understanding of life, general insurance and health insurance markets and a deep understanding of the products and their relevance for SME and large corporate customers - Understanding of marketing planning processes - Excellent understanding of Aviva processes - Practical and theoretical understanding of marketing performance levers and framework including experience in analysing marketing performance across the following categories: - Direct response - B2B - Brand / ATL - Operational (NPS etc) - Inquisitive and creative with a passion for the customer - Creates energy and direction towards key priorities - Challenges respectfully and comfortably - Commercial, analytical and numerate - Good negotiating and influencing Qualifications Desired - Business degree or equivalent - Relevant marketing qualification (e.g. CIM, IDM) or studying towards What I will get from this role - Salary of £45,000 to £50,000 dependent on experience - Annual performance related pay review and bonus - Defined contribution pension scheme - Generous holiday allowance - Excellent flexi-benefits package Additional Information Bring to Aviva what makes you different and we'll support you to do the best work of your life.
