Robotic Process Automation Developer - Blue Prism Leeds Building Society has an exciting opportunity for a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer to join our Business Solutions department, based at our Head Office in the heart of Leeds city centre. About the role Blue Prism is at the forefront of the current robotic process automation revolution, and you will be joining an industry recognised team helping to lead innovation in this field. As an RPA Developer, you will be focused on building end to end automation process solutions that meets business requirements. You will work within project planning constraints, owning development solutions and have a high level of exposure to a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of the business. Accountabilities of the role - Evaluate processes and make recommendations with regard to their potential and suitability for RPA and work effort estimation- Defines and plans the development approach for larger projects through to smaller developments factoring in the existing RPA programme and future development opportunities into the solution design- Create and maintain throughout the project lifecycle, the Solution Design Document (SDD) including detailed RPA solution process flows, process and technical specification- Design and develop Blue Prism process solutions in accordance with standard Blue Prism design principles and conventions and development best practice- Apply agile practices and principles to maximise business value and continuously improve the delivery of the right customer outcomes- Work within project planning constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues to the RPA manager accordingly - Drive Blue Prism solutions through test, change management, and production readiness cycles, providing operational and change management support for all RPA developments Essential Skills and Experience Qualifications- Two 'A' Level Standard qualifications (or equivalent).- Blue Prism Developer Accreditation or willingness to achieve through supported study Experience- Experience developing and implementing automated Blue Prism processes as an accredited Blue Prism developer OR suitable wider development experience and an aptitude to develop knowledge of Blue Prism in the role Plus; Skills (Essential)- An aptitude for problem solving, with the ability to take a logical route to the source of an error. - The ability to work with a structured and methodical approach, combined with an enquiring mind- Fully conversant with computing concepts and development lifecycle methodologies- Excellent understanding of Excel, its formulas and a demonstrable record of creating macros- Excellent understanding of workflow based logic and the ability to both understand a business process from a workflow diagram and to conceptualise it as an automated solution- Excellent attention to detail- Excellent motivation skills, being both self-motivated & self-directed with ability to deliver outcomes to strict deadlines and able to motivate others at all levels.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrable record of presenting technical details to a non-technical audience- Highly motivated and resilient and able to adapt to change- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel Desirable Skills & Experience - Experience in other coding practices such as .net, VBA, SQL, HTML, C#- Bachelor degree in an appropriate subject (e.g. computer science, mathematics, engineering)- Knowledge of the Financial Services industry and/or Banking Operations, products, systems and divisions in a regulated environment Benefits and Rewards - Competitive salary - Annual performance related bonus scheme - 26 days annual holiday- Annual holiday purchase scheme- Annual volunteering day- Exclusive colleague mortgage deals- Leeds Colleague Association scheme- Childcare voucher scheme- Cycle flex scheme- Health Shield cash plan- Life assurance- Long service awards- Pension scheme- Private medical insurance scheme- Recommend a friend scheme- Travel ticket loans - bus and train Career Development We see all colleagues as key to our success..
