Service Delivery Manager Location: Cirencester Salary:£Competitive Job brief An exciting opportunity in a very successful IT Asset Management Consultancy business that is the fastest growing in the UK. We are looking for an experienced Software Asset Management Consultant to deliver into client engagements across multiple industry sectors including finance, government, defence, healthcare and the private sector. Service Delivery Manager Job Duties Your responsibilities will include delivering every service on time within budget and scope and ensuring excellence in service delivery of ongoing services. You should have a background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis. This position is a stakeholder facing role, and requires that you establish and manage expectations within the business and drive the Consultants to achieve those expectations to a high standard. You should be skilled at getting the best out of the people and services/services that you oversee and thrive when planning services and working with service teams. Good client and partner communications is key. Building relationships and clear, professional verbal and written communication. A great client engagement delivers on time, within budget, leads to customer satisfaction and repeat business. Responsibilities - Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of services. - Ensure that all services are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. - Manage the relationship with partners, the end client and all stakeholders with proactive communications keeping all parties involved throughout the service lifecycle. - Ownership of the Incident, Request, Change and Escalation processes, ensuring high levels of performance in these processes, accurate reporting and establishing service improvement activities when required - Involvement pre-sales regarding service scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. - Ensure resource availability and allocation. - Monitor, control and support service delivery; ensuring systems, methodologies and procedures are in place and followed - Development and ownership of a service delivery plans to track and report progress. - Maintain action trackers, and service workbooks. - Effective management of changes in scope, schedule and costs internally and with partners and clients. - Measure performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques. - Consistent and regular status reporting to management. - Risk management and timely escalation of issues to management. - Create and maintain service/service documentation. Requirements - Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks - Proven working experience as a project manager and/or service delivery manager. - Strong technical background. Knowledge of ITAM, SAM and/or ITSM would be very beneficial. - Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills - PMP / PRINCE II / ITIL certification is a plus This description reflects the core activities of the role but is not intended to be all-inclusive and other duties within the group/department may be required in addition to changes in the emphasis of duties as required from time to time.
