Materials R&D Product Engineer (Open to Junior Material Scientists or Graduate Materials Science) Engineering / Manufacture / Automotive Macclesfield £23,000 - £33,000 + Benefits (depending on experience) This is an exciting opportunity for an existing materials development engineer / product development engineer or recent materials science graduate. YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN MATERIALS, MATTULURGY OR GRADUATE WITH A MATERIALS SCIENCE DEGREE The Company Our client are well-known throughout the world as a Tier 1 supplier into the automotive industry and supply into major blue chip businesses. The Role & Person The role will involve product and material development to manufacture an alternative mid-grade product and to ensure product continuity. The opportunity offers you the chance to work for one of the world largest automotive suppliers and gain knowledge, training and development. You will obtain experience and understanding within a R&D environment and materials testing that will be valuable for your career development. Some of the Key responsibilities: - Conducting investigations, running trials and analyzing data. - Understanding of R&D - Be happy with a hands on role with the overlapping areas of process and product development - Support with the development of novel and robust products and processes Qualifications - You will need to have a Beng in Materials Science or Mechanical degree with an element of Materials or equivalent materials testing experience.
