Job Title: 1st/2nd Line IT Support Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 Benefits: Bonus, Pension Established for over 50 years this progressive and award winning firm based over two sites in the UK with their head office in Wolverhampton have achieved 20% year on year growth for the last 5 years. The working hours are 37 hours per week: 07:00 to 15:00 Monday through Thursday and 07:00 to 14:30 on a Friday. The Role You will work within an IT team of four people reporting to the IT Manager and will provide support on - Desktop - (Win 7 currently and moving to Win 10) - Active Directory - DNS / DHCP - Basic networking You will provide support to head office users as well as users at other sites remotely and face to face in addition to working on projects. Key Experience Required You will be an experienced 1st / 2nd line support engineer with at least five to six years' experience in 1st and 2nd line support. You will have strong technical experience in Windows 7, Windows 10, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, networking and extensive application experience with Office 2013/2016 Ideally you will have achieved either a degree in IT or some vocational qualifications during your career such as MCP, MCSA, MCITP, Comptia A+ or CCNA. We are looking for someone who has a logical approach and loves problem solving and getting through support tickets. As there may be some occasional travel to other sites you will need to have a full driving license.
