Project Manager Finance Systems, HR Systems required for a Government client based Coventry, West Midlands. The Project Manager will: coordinate the programme�s Digital and Technology work stream and interdependencies with the wider Core Systems Solutions Programme. This includes: coordinating the input of a team of technical specialists across the department to support the delivery of the Core System Solution programme Ensuring the requirements from a technology, data, digital and infrastructure are fully defined for the purposes of future systems, working with leads across each of those areas The project manager will work fulltime on the programme. The role is crucial for creating and maintaining focus, enthusiasm and momentum. Strong experience in defining user needs, evaluating technology options and operating model design are core requirements of this role. Additionally the ability to facilitate teams and align them around a common set of requirements is crucial. Deliverables Meeting milestones/ targets set out in the programme plan specifically to Lead project through to successful completion / hand over. Identify and work with the key stakeholders to develop the requirements to a level by which technical suppliers can be commissioned for delivery Work within Agile, Hybrid and Waterfall projects Ensure project team is led to successful delivery Effectively manage all project Risks, Issues and Dependencies Provide accurate project status reports and board updates Essential experience: Must have experience of at least 5 years of delivering projects within the public / education sector Must have a minimum of 5 years project management experience Must have worked with 3rd party suppliers Must have knowledge and experience of engaging suppliers from within the government procurement rules and processes Excellent stakeholder management skills Experience of business change delivery Experience of delivery of financial/HR systems projects Previous project delivery Knowledge of both waterfall and agile methodologies Understanding of reporting requirements Delivering change into finance/HR services Experience of coordinating input across architecture, data, integration and IT operational experts Experience of supplier management and understanding the commercial, technology and service implications of them Good understanding of the technology landscape and liaising with IT suppliers Strong problem solving skills Ideally experience of navigating processes and governance in public sector organisations Previous experience of working within the Education sector Delivery Experience:Delivery within Education Sector control measures ****** Deadline 15/09 @ 3pm*****
