You'll be working as a manager in the Corporate Planning & Optimisation team providing specific data support including defining targeting methodology and planning for the corporate direct trading team, which covers direct to businesses (micro / small and large) and their employees. This will involve Recognising that the data work required to identify qualifying and target customers, is complex and vital to the success of the business. Duties and responsibilities If you get this job, you'll be: - Identifying all data requirements to aid communication planning - Analysing and building agreed data specifications for targeting customers which supports business and technical requirements and dependencies - Leading the investigation of audiences to define opportunity, reachable audience and optimal targeting for on-boarding and engagement activity supporting data activities to deliver communications objectives - Liaising with the data and CRM exec, alongside the broader digital, IT and business to gain access to appropriate data sets and ensure the provision of targeting data suitable for all marketing targeting platforms. - Working with key internal teams to deliver high quality targeted campaigns across channels such as Direct Mail, Email, site personalisation and programmatic marketing. - Contributing expertise to the wider team on data planning and analysis and the exploitation of Adobe Campaign. Skills and experience - Strong understanding of the data lifecycle within marketing and communications activity - Experience of data analysis and/or communications data planning - A track record of working with complex data in conjunction with varied business areas (e.g. IT, operations, marketing, risk). - Strong experience of using data query and manipulation tools, for example SQL, SAS - Strong data presentation skills with an ability to convey complex requirements and scenarios in simple and easy to use language. - A proven ability to work with unfamiliar data & achieve timely, high quality outcomes. - Strong knowledge of end-to-end delivery of data marketing campaigns - Solid understanding of Life, GI and Health insurance market - A grasp of the capabilities and workings of Aviva's new marketing technology (Adobe Marketing Cloud) would be preferred.
