Employer Description This is an IT based company, which specialises in IT support, software development and new technologies in support of its clients. The company works across a range of industries and is currently a specialist IT supplier to clients within the health and fitness sector. Its staff base consists of a range of IT certified professionals, engineers and non-technical staff. The company has a diverse client base, which covers most of the UK, its head office is located in Rochdale, and it also has two further offices based in Slough and Hampshire. Job Description As a Service Desk Analyst Apprentice, you will learn how to assist, configure and install. Main duties/ Responsibilities: - 1st Line Support with escalation to 2nd line - Remote support and fault finding - Windows & email support - Active directory changes - Password & pin resets/changes - Setup IT equipment including PCs, wireless routers and VoIP phones You will also receive internal training specific to the role. Qualities / essential requirements - Good team player - Good organisational skills - Ability to learn new things - The successful candidate will have an enthusiasm for a career in IT - IT literate - Good communication skills & creativity Desired Qualifications 3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject plus GCSE English and Maths (or equivalents) at grade D or above Working hours Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm Benefits Fantastic opportunity to start an IT career, with on-going learning, development and career prospects.
