Deputy Nursery Manager and Level 3 Practitioner/Nursery Nurse - Christchurch We are recruiting for a Deputy Manager and Practitioners to join our clients' fantastic, ever growing nursery. Job Role: Deputy Manager Hours: 37.5 hours per week Salary: £15,600 - £19,500 per annum (dependant on experience and qualifications. Will be discussed in an interview) Job Description: You will ensure the smooth running of the nursery on a day to day basis, ensuring that high standards are implemented throughout, ensuring that all children are happy and are in a fun, stimulating learning environment alongside the manager. You will ensure you are professional at all times, ensuring all the staff in the setting are fully complying to their job description and that ratios are met at all times. You will ensure that children in the setting are being given the opportunities to play and learn in a fun and stimulating environment. What you need: - Must have worked in an Outstanding setting for the past 12 months - Minimum of 12 months management experience in a nursery setting (deputy or manager) - DSL, SENCo, ENCo, Safeguarding and Behaviour Management leading experience and qualifications are an advantage - Excellent safeguarding knowledge - Must have an in-depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage, Observation, Assessment and Planning to an Outstanding level - A track record of involvement in Ofsted inspections would be an advantage, but is not essential - Minimum Level 3 Childcare qualification Job Role: Level 3 Practitioner/Nursery Nurse Hours: 37.5 hours per week Salary: £13,650 - £17,550 per annum (Dependant on experience and qualifications. Will be discussed in an interview) Job Description: - To be responsible for the development of children in the Early Years age range - To provide interesting learning opportunities following the EYFS - Monitor and assess children's progress ensuring correct records are maintained - To ensure the expected high standards of child care are upheld at all times - To demonstrate their commitment to safeguarding children and young people within their work What you need: - Minimum Level 3 NVQ Childcare - Must have an in-depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage, Observation, Assessment and Planning to an Outstanding level - A track record of involvement in Ofsted inspections would be an advantage, but is not essential - DSL, SENCo, ENCo, Safeguarding and Behaviour Management experience and qualifications are an advantage If you would like to know more, or are applying for a job through us.
