Job Summary: This is an exciting opportunity for a digital guru to join a dynamic team at a pivotal moment in our company's growth. To fuel our ongoing expansion we require a digital marketing manager who can quickly learn and manage our brands digital marketing activities and take a lead-role in planning digital strategy, executing and reporting web metrics covering SEO, PPC, email marketing and other inbound strategies. Taking up this new position and working closely with the marketing manager and company founders you take the full ownership of our digital marketing activities. We are a small, close-knit team - still managed by the same two guys who set up the company in 2008 - and we're still innovating. We are a rapidly growing business based in Loughborough in the East Midlands. Our existing portfolio consists of nine core brands, which include a diverse range of exciting technology-related products and services including innovative TVs, digital signage solutions and global product sourcing services. We need to ensure that our brands have maximum exposure online (nationally and internationally) and you will be an important part of the team to make this happen. The successful candidate will be required to deliver projects that demonstrate ROI while working to tight deadlines. They should have considerable project management experience, strong technical knowledge and significant exposure to the strategy, creative development and user experience of the project life cycle. What will really matter is your attitude; the role requires a real passion for digital marketing and natural entrepreneurial flair. Your day-to-day approach to work will be a 'make-it-happen' attitude understanding your need to get the job done. You will be required to keep abreast of current trends within the industry and within all aspects of organic, paid search, social media and email marketing. Main Duties: o Create, develop and execute digital marketing strategies to drive awareness, interest and sales in line with business objectives and forecasts o Manage and develop our global PPC / SEO / re-marketing activities and campaigns to produce optimal results o Setup, create and manage all email campaign activity o Manage and continue to develop social media o Write engaging content/copy o Analyse and report on all digital marketing activities o Develop new digital content o Improve the usability, design, content and conversion of the websites o Responsible for management to an appropriate budget o Keep up to date with competitor's digital activity and formulate strategy to ensure the business is performing better than competitors o Keep abreast of digital trends and reviewing technologies on an ongoing basis, making recommendations on company's adoption of new tools and adherence to industry best practices and processes o Contribute to the ongoing development of the marketing strategy and plan o General ad hoc daily duties / tasks Essential Criteria (Skills / Experience / Qualifications): o Educated to degree level or by industry experience o Have experience of managing multiple projects to success o In-depth knowledge across all spheres of digital and online marketing o Core capability in SEO and PPC with at least 3 years experience in each o Competent in technical SEO and appropriate SEO tools o Good understanding of Google Algorithm history and updates o Skilled in using Google Analytics o Experienced in back link analysis and understanding domain authority o Understanding of brands and brand development o Good creative skills and strong eye for detail o Strong organisational and management skills o Excellent copy writing, editing, verbal and written communication skills o Up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement o Understanding of the links between digital, social and traditional marketing Desired Criteria (Skills / Experience / Qualifications): o Experience of HTML, CSS and JavaScript o Be able to demonstrate best practices in creating landing pages, email and general digital design o Skilled in graphic design to be able to create logo's, marketing material, general artwork etc o Competent in designing, developing and building websites o Experience of managing a public relations program that will enhance public awareness of our brands o Experience of managing an advertising program that will help promote our products/services Hours of Work: Monday - Friday (0900 - 1700 with half an hour for lunch)
