Our highly skilled team is currently undergoing extensive expansion, with exciting plans for both national and international growth. To compliment our existing training services, we have been approved by Government to deliver Apprenticeships from 2017 and are looking to recruit Apprenticeship Lead Tutors to the team. This role is for experienced Apprenticeship assessors who have delivered and assessed Apprenticeships and are looking to take a lead subject specialist role, supporting our clients and tutors/assessors with the new Apprenticeship Standards. Our Apprenticeship service will offer a broad range of new Apprenticeship Standards across Sales, Management and Business at levels 2, 3 and 4 with plans to offer Degree Apprenticeships in the future. We are now looking for experienced and qualified Apprenticeship Assessors who will play a vital role in ensuring our service offer from Information, Advice and Guidance through to the Gateway is planned and delivered effectively and to the highest standards under the Common Inspection Framework. The Role -Apprenticeship Lead Tutor/Assessor As the Apprenticeship Lead Tutor/Assessor, you will: -Champion a dynamic and proactive culture -Act as an ambassador of Pareto with employers and learners -Be mobile and flexible with delivery to employer and learner locations -Deliver the highest quality IAG service to Matrix Standards -Support learners through their Apprenticeship Standards to the Gateway -Play a key role in supporting Tutors and Skills Coaches delivery and performance -Support Additional Learning Needs when required or assist in signposting learners to specialist support -Recognise when pastoral support is required or noted by assigned tutors and arrange suitable actions -Contribute to the support for Functional Skills -Ensure that company processes and systems are managed and maintained accurately and in accordance with the Education and Skills Funding Agency and the new Apprenticeship Levy requirements -Ensure submitted paperwork or entries onto the Learner Management System are accurate and within agreed time limits -Manage and liaise with the Quality Manager and your assigned tutors/assessors -Support the Quality Manager with Standardisation Meetings -Plan, coordinate & schedule all training initiatives for assigned learners -Support and innovate with latest Best Practice` initiatives -Have a pro-active approach to Safeguarding, Prevent and British Values -Promote employer support and mentoring for Apprenticeship candidates -Attend and/or plan required training sessions to enhance personal and/or assigned Apprenticeship Tutors knowledge for adhere to CPD requirements The Candidate - Apprenticeship Lead Tutor/Assessor The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate: -Appropriate teaching and assessing qualifications (TAQA) -Ability to pass enhanced DBS checks on joining Pareto -A knowledge of the new Apprenticeship Standards -Good interpersonal, communication and training skills -Knowledge and experience of LMS systems -A broad understanding of delivery administration requirements for provision of Apprenticeships and the Levy -An understanding of external regulatory compliance and evidence requirements for Ofsted inspections -Some previous supervision of Assessors or tutors would be advantageous Location: London / South East Keywords: Functional Skills, LMS, Apprenticeship Standards, Apprenticeship Levy, IAG, Self-Assessment Reports, Quality Improvement Plans, Paperwork Accuracy, Learner Feedback, Safeguarding, Prevent, British Values, Individual Learning Plans, Reporting Schedules, Process Flow, The Apprenticeship Service, Pastoral Support
