Reed currently have a new vacancy with one of the top housing associations in the UK. We are looking for an experienced Digital Communications Officer, with ideally 3 - 5 years of web/communications experience to be based in London Bridge. Purpose of your role You'll be required to proactively identify and respond to the digital communications needs of the business, act as a 'go to' expert for the content management system, implement digital content solutions which drive customer behaviour and facilitate channel shift, and work with the business to plan improvements and enhancements. Your responsibilities - Work with the business to identify digital communications needs, and implement digital content solutions which facilitate an effortless customer experience. - Devise, execute and report on digital communications campaigns. - Write content for external and internal audiences, varying style accordingly. - Promote, enable and facilitate channel shift through improvements to company website. - Champion and promote digital best practice, ensuring all digital content is consistent, high quality, and adheres to company web standards. - Monitor, analyse and report on web analytics. - Identify areas for improvement and work with the business to create and review content. Your experience - Ideally you will have at least 3-5 years' experience working in a web/communications team or digital agency (In-house or consultancy) - Expert knowledge of web content management systems. (Umbraco desirable but not essential) - Significant understanding of user-centred design and digital best practice (essential) - Significant experience of writing accurate and engaging copy for the web, and advising colleagues at all levels on a best practice approach to digital communications (essential). - Experience of working collaboratively with different teams in the organisation to create user-friendly digital solutions which promote and encourage channel shift (essential). - Experience of search engine optimisation, and using website analytics to identify and analyse customer behaviour (essential). - In-depth knowledge of the principles of website information architecture (essential). - Working knowledge of website accessibility (essential) . - Working knowledge of HTML and CSS (essential).
