I am currently recruiting for a Progress Coach to work at a leading Further Education College in South London. Starting immediately, the Progress Coach is responsible for overseeing the progress made by learners, including all components of their course, and providing personal support to learners in an assertive and pro-active way to ensure high levels of student attendance, punctuality, retention and success. You will also provide support in progressing to further training, education or employment. You will work closely with course teams, learners, parents and other support staff to ensure that learners can flourish in the College environment. The position is full time, and the rate of pay is between £9 and £14 per hour depending on skills and experience. Suitable candidates will be - Experienced in providing one to one and group support, preferably in an educational setting as a progress coach - Educated to minimum Level 3 standard in English & Maths (GCSE or equivalent Grade C or above) You will have - Excellent interpersonal skills, in particular the ability to work effectively with staff, learners, parents and support staff - Excellent organisational and administrative skills, including IT skills - Good administration skills - Interest in ensuring young people achieve their learning goals All applicants must hold a current DBS Certificate that is on the update service, or be willing to apply for one if you do not already have one.
