Our client are aiming to ensure that accurate data and information is delivered to the right people, in a timely fashion, to facilitate a more data driven decision making process and culture. In light of the above, we are looking for a Business Intelligence and Data Manager to take sole responsibility for defining the enterprise wide data and BI strategy, joining up the 19 currently disparate divisions of our clients business and becoming the face of BI for the company. Key Skills: - A number of years of experience managing a Business Intelligence team - Experience of defining an enterprise wide data and business intelligence strategy for a medium to large organisation - A good understanding of a range of best in breed data management and business intelligence tools - The drive and desire to help this business become an industry leader in the data management and business intelligence space - A strong, confident communication style - Latest Microsoft Power Bi Stack experience is essential - An interest in constantly innovating and pushing your function forwards Main Duties: - Defining the enterprise wide Business Intelligence and Data Strategy - Strategically managing an enterprise wide data warehouse implementation - Overseeing the group wide role out of self-service BI - Through a reporting suite overhaul, ensuring that senior members of the business have access to accurate information in a timely fashion - Technology vendor selection - Future proofing the business through a long term plan to implement an analytics and big data capability - Leading a team, delegating their workload where necessary, and ensuring you have a capable and dedicated workforce. - Recruiting extra team members where necessary. - Managing expectations of various senior stakeholders across the business.
