Governance, Systems and Assurance Manager (Wolverhampton) £45-£50k p/a + Car + Bonus Overview - We are currently working on behalf of our client for a Governance, Systems and Assurance Manager to work at their site in Wolverhampton. - The role will be manging their systems, policy, and framework including control and maintenance, certification and approval. - You will be involved in audit and review, conformance, compliance and improvement. Role - Management System Policy and Framework, Control and Maintenance, Certification and Approval, Audit and Review, System Conformance, Compliance and Performance Feedback, Support to Business Improvement. - The scope of the role covers acting as Management representative with responsibility for ensuring that the Management Systems comply with organisational, customer and other interested parties needs and the requirements of any national/international standards and codes of practice, legal or statutory requirements within the industry sectors the business operates to develop, deploy and manage the Business Management System, in accordance with Customer, Regulatory and Business needs through - The development and maintenance of an SHSEQ Governance system that includes a programme of internal auditing, management review and key performance indicators so as to facilitate achievement of business goals and to assure compliance to customer standards. - The interface with Customers, External bodies and lead company response to external audit requests. - Coordination of SHSEQ improvement plans across the business, driving continuous improvement and embedding Assurance across the organisation. - Coordination of SHSEQ training and awareness plans. - Coordinate SHSEQ internal corrective and preventive action activities and assure effective and efficient close out of actions. - The role specifically includes responsibility the day-to-day management and interface with the Security Controller who role is appointed though the Operations board. As such, the Security Controller function under the delated authority of the board is an executive one, however, overall contractual responsibility remains with the Board of - The specific aspects associated with the security controller are is for interpreting, implementing and monitoring security controls for the appropriate protection of government classified assets (PMI) held on company sites Key Activities Management System Policy and Framework - Establish and communicate the required management system frameworks from which the company will operate and deliver its strategic aims and objectives. This includes integration and adoption of SHSEQ management system integration requirements. - In conjunction with the relevant Service Function and Business Unit leads (Policy & Process Owners), establish and define the Policies, Practices and Governance needed for current and future business needs. - Establish and maintain the required management system frameworks from which the company will operate and deliver its strategic aims and objectives. - Ensure that processes are in place to ensure that the risks and impacts to the Management Systems, Policies and Frameworks are understood and managed in terms of new, obsolete or changes to applicable legislation, statute, codes and standards - Provide support, information, training, advice and guidance to the business as required in respect to the Management System Policy and Framework - Compliance with theHMG Security Policy Framework (SPF) and any associated Defence and Nuclear requirements for current Client needs and future stakeholder needs.
