Thus, we are looking for talented, driven and business focused C# Digital Platform Developers to join this team based in Central London. This is a fantastic opportunity to integrate new solutions that will enhance the business performance whilst also maintaining already World Renowned products and offerings. Job Objectives You, as a C# Digital Platform Developer, will be coming into a team that is already producing some of the most cutting edge solutions to this Global business. You will be working with a team of Analysts and Architects to understand what the outputs of this Digital Transformation are and to work on plans, designs and developments to make sure the business achieves these goals. Job Responsibilities: - Work with the analyst and architects to understand key business needs - Design a solution to meet the requirements of the business - Use your C# Development skills to produce the required software/applications - Take the development work through its full lifecycle - Play an active role in the development team and take on a leadership element to mentor other members of the team Day to Day Activities: - Understanding the needs of the business to design and develop appropriate solutions - Hands-on development with C#, .NET to continually work towards creating the necessary solutions - Participating in daily meetings to keep the business up to date with where the development work is at - Acting as a senior member of the team, reviewing others code and mentoring more junior team members You will be rewarded with a role that will give you exposure across the business and your Digital solutions will have a wide reaching and real impact. You will be able to showcase your C# skills and you will be able to have a voice that the business will value. This is a company that operates in an Agile Development environment and you will be part of regular Scrums and short sprint cycles with a focus on delivery of solutions that are fit for purpose. As this is a role that requires you to be involved with many different stakeholders, you must have strong engagement and communication skills and be a confident team player. Skills Required So, the skills that you will bring to this role that we will find valuable are: - Commercial development experience with C# - A mixture of both development and design experience would make you stand out - Working knowledge of Database Development and in particular SQL is a bonus - Experience in an Agile or TDD environment is ideal - Skills in .NET, ASP.NET, HTML and JavaScript would put you in a strong position Meet Version 1: We pledge "to prove IT can make a real difference to our customers' businesses".
