ForViva is a forward-thinking social organisation that positively impacts communities. We're also proud to create opportunities that make things happen - for people, families, homes and communities. We're a busy team with lots to do. We can only achieve this if we've got the right resources so we look for people and partners with as much enthusiasm and passion as we have for making things happen. Joining us as an Apprentice and Training Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing advice and support to all gas apprentices across the business and effectively coordinating training requirements utilising the Apprentice Levy. Working closely with training providers on the progression of all apprentices whilst managing and recording all information on the system, you will book training courses, keep training plans up to date and conduct 1-2-1 reviews on the telephone or face to face. Providing support in the procurement of training providers and the recruitment and selection for new apprentices and qualified engineers, you must work with contract managers to support social value and keep up to date with any legislative changes. With experience of planning and delivering key administration tasks and of providing training advice and support, candidates will have an understanding of the new apprenticeship levy and the ability to build positive relationships with apprentices and colleagues. Adapting positively to change and with a strong commitment to high quality training, you will have experience in the use of Microsoft office software in particular Outlook, Word, Excel and Access and be keen to share your knowledge with apprentices. As well as a competitive salary and a generous holiday entitlement, we offer a range of benefits for a rewarding career including a health cash plan, pension scheme, child care vouchers and staff discount club membership. We'll also make sure you get the training and benefits you deserve. We are currently under represented by Ethnic Minorities, LGBT Groups and people with a Disability. We would particularly welcome applications from these groups, however any appointment would be made on merit. Closing date: 19th September Interviews on 26th September This is a Blue Octopus Recruitment Ltd vacancy who are operating as an employment agency. Once you have clicked to apply for this vacancy, we will then send you more information on the role including a copy of the application form via email.
