The essential requirements for the Technical Support Consultant: - Excellent working knowledge of administering and troubleshooting Microsoft Server, Desktop operating systems, Backup, AV & Security Solutions. - You will have a 1st and 2nd line technical support background with experience of resolving IT / software issues. - Proficient in dealing with clients by telephone and email day-to-day - You will be confident speaking to external clients under pressure and will have outstanding customer service skills. - Excellent knowledge and skills in IP/Networking - You will have a methodical problem-solving ability, and a desire to learn and solve new issues with software. - You will have excellent organisational skills and time management. Desired Skills: - Previous experience in ITIL or similar - Industry accreditations (Microsoft, Cisco, HP etc) Location: Willerby, Hull. What is a typical day in the Technical Support role? - You will be answering questions from a broad range of clients on how to use bespoke software (full training will be provided). - You will investigate issues as reported by clients to identify whether there is a user error or software bug. - You will communicate with the development team daily to understand outstanding issue status. - You will perform proactive account reviews with clients to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction.
