Director, Pharmacy Clinical Integration - Pharmacy Services The Director of Clinical Integration will assist in the therapeutic evaluation of pharmaceutical product offerings from a clinical perspective and develop plans for implementation of selected and approved Contract Integration Initiatives (CCIIs). This position is responsible for integration of non-equity, including the integration of new members, as it relates to workflow, contract integration and compliance, and education. In addition, this position will be responsible for the development of programs that are based on new, emerging technologies as it relates to my clients focus and direction in these areas. This individual is also responsible for communications of various performance contract programs and initiatives to member hospitals, account managers and directors, as well as other HealthTrust staff through use of verbal and written communication tools Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Understanding or aptitude to learn the pharmaceutical product categories assigned Demonstrated success in managing/directing a pharmacy program within an acute care facility, clinic, managed care organization or GPO required, including successful initiative implementation in a multi-facility environment. Clinical knowledge across a wide range of clinical therapeutic categories (I.e. chemotherapy, TPN, infectious disease and cardiology, etc.) Pharmacy operations knowledge and expertise for implementation of initiatives. Must have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret potentially complex financial models General understanding of pharmacy contract term and condition provisions Demonstrated ability to: Maintain grace under pressure in difficult situations while displaying a high level of professional courtesy; Align internal and external resources to achieve objectives; Manage complex projects and meet timeline deliverables; Lead resources that may not be directly managed; Comprehend, and interpret complex instructions, proposals, and contract language; Listen and separate ancillary information from the primary content being communicated, ask appropriate questions to clarify and confirm understanding; EDUCATION Pharmacy degree level with clinical certificate & clinical diploma Master's degree in pharmacy - desirable Knowledge of financial and management accounts desirable Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council Strong project management skills/ Must apply for MHRA Broker's License upon hire EXPERIENCE 3-5 years minimum as a pharmacy manager in a hospital setting Knowledge of relevant hospital pharmacy policies and procedures Experience with mutli-facilty/IDN pharmacy contracting initiative conversions and implementations also preferred.
