London's largest private hospital group, are currently seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer. The client continually keeps abreast of developments in technology for the benefits of patients, staff and doctors. As part of a business transformation the business requires a Full Stack Developer to take a leading role in creating web experiences for a variety of projects and solutions across desktop, tablet, mobile and various technologies that are engaging, insightful, and intelligent. In your work you should strive to get the right technology and then get the technology right. To achieve that you'll work within the Digital Services Unit (DSU) with the creative leadership to define consumer needs, market insights, business cases, technology, and experience opportunities. Key Responsibilities - Evangelise good web technology practices across multiple projects within the organisation. Assess technology, work and creative for usability, technical complexity, implementation and appropriateness for the brand. - Drive user-facing workshops, and requirements gathering activities - Create prototypes, spikes, architectural diagrams and production code, campaigns, bringing to life experiences and reconcile the impacts on technology, business & user needs with brand considerations. - Inspire the next generation. You will be expected to take an active role in driving culture via knowledge sharing, and show & tells - Track the need for product changes and implement them via changes to their web pages, directly supporting requests from the Prodchange Committee. Regularly attend Prodchange meetings and act as the website Subject matter Expert (SME). - Establish and monitor metrics to track online campaign performance and conduct A/B testing to optimize website customer experience. - Estimate with project managers the staffing needs, schedules, roadmaps, and other operational details to successfully track and drive inflight projects. - Innovate with creative directors to create new, innovative concepts for our existing and future projects. Job Requirements - Excellent knowledge of hand-coded HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and the DOM - Knowledge of JavaScript libraries and their use in building complex interactive experiences - Familiarity with MVC frameworks (AngularJS, Backbone.js, or similar) and common JavaScript design patterns. Working knowledge with React and Flux is a plus. - Experience using fluid grids, and building responsive websites - Experience working within development teams and architecting elegant solutions - Understanding of SEO and accessibility issues and how they relate to development - Experience working with large branded websites, content management systems, E-commerce platforms, and backend frameworks (Java, .NET) is a plus - Strong graphics manipulation/optimization skills using Photoshop (Desirable, not essential) - Adhere to organisation's brand guidelines and technical standards Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in interactive development or computer science is a plus - Minimum 3 years' experience in website content management, web development - Experience using Sitecore & Google Analytics is required. - Knowledge of HTML5, CSS 3.0, SEO, JIRA, .NET / Web Services - Image manipulation using tools e.g. Photoshop - Proficiency in MSOffice, Sharepoint, - Strong coordination skills, including the ability to multi-task, prioritizing and managing multiple work items, simultaneously - Meticulous attention to detail and an eye for consistency - Ability to work independently and problem solve If this is something you would entertain, please apply with your CV in the first instance.
