Robert Half are recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk or an enthusiastic graduate/AAT student to join a well established business based in North Bristol. They are looking to add headcount to their finance department after two very strong years in succession with the role foreseen to progress. This is a 6 month fixed term contract to permanent opportunity. Training is offered. Role This role works with multi-currency on the purchase ledger and will require someone with strong attention to detail. - Processing 50 invoices a day which include invoices from UK, Italy, Germany, Austria & Switzerland - Supplier statement reconciliations - Bank reconciliations - Dealing with queries over the phone, sometimes to suppliers abroad. - Ad-hoc requirements as and when Profile This role is foreseen to progress to a general ledger clerk for the right candidate (should they wish for such progression). For this reason the successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic to progress within their financial career. Strong attention to detail is required as some invoices will come from foreign suppliers. Company An ever expanding multi-billion pound company which requires a 6 month FTC purchase ledger clerk with permanent opportunity at the end. We have been advised that the role is foreseen to progress into a general ledger clerk for the successful candidate.
