Job Description This is an exceptional opportunity for a tech enthusiastic apprentice to be a valued member of the team, and be trained as an IT support technician. Opportunities to progress in the company to field technician could be available after the apprenticeship is completed. Duties/ Responsibilities As the person on the front line, you'll be involved in supporting our clients' IT infrastructure and applications on a day-to-day basis. This will give you an insight into a wide variety of technologies and gain a great understanding of how our customers work. You will be part of a team that have the opportunity to influence and contribute to implementing continuous improvements to the way in which we work. - Resolving queries - Problem solving - Providing technical assistance - Maintaining ICT equipment - Installing and configuring hardware - Resolving faults - Upgrading or replacement of equipment as needed Qualities / essential requirements: - Good attention to detail - Motivated - A passion for learning - Team work - Excellent communication skills - Problem solving skills - Passion for technology Desired Qualifications 3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject plus GCSE English and Maths (or equivalents) at grade D or above Other information 37.5 hrs per week Important Information "QA's apprenticeship programmes may be funded in part by the European Union through the European Social Fund, which supports the development of employment opportunities and a skilled workforce."
