Digital Marketing Executive The aims for the Marketing Executive are threefold. Firstly, to help with lead generation by arranging targeted events, increasing the Groups digital footprint through social media and working closely with the sales team to prepare targeted content. Secondly, helping build upon the Groups reputation in the marketplace by updating the website in real time, arranging events and preparing case studies for online consumption. Finally, improving the Group online presence through a 'digital by default approach' including providing SEO analysis, competitor mapping and interaction with customers and partners. An essential component is communicating the company's brand in a positive, authentic way what will attract today's modern, hyper-connected buyers. This role is a precursor to becoming the Marketing Manager. Ultimately, we are looking for someone who is able to make this role their own and shape the strategic marketing direction and develop a marketing department over the next 1-2 years. Design Marketing strategy alongside Sales Director. - Prepare documented marketing strategy including (and not exclusive to) marketing vision, planned launches and competitor analysis. - Sit down with Sales team to understand marketing needs and create a plan of action based on their requirements. - Speak to customers and internal stakeholders to gain an insight into relevant solutions to help position the group at the forefront of the marketplace. - Track any incoming leads from the website, events and inbound and create monthly ROI analysis from any marketing activity that lead to these. - Liaise with sales team to ensure leads are followed up correctly and the CRM is updated to accurately show where the leads came from. - Manage overall marketing budget and ensure this is met or there is an underspend. - Contribute to the maintenance of internal sales and marketing resources, including: CRM data, tender library, and graphics library. - Work across the entire group to fulfil their individual needs whilst promoting the overall group. - Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns. - Promote content through social advertising. - Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate Manage all marketing (digital and other) content including website. - Prepare online analysis (website visits, followers on social media etc) and present to the Board of Directors alongside recommendations and costs to improve within first 3 months. - Increase brand awareness and brand development though all digital marketing tools and techniques - Define a visual design and web development strategy in conjunction with Creative Director - Updating of the website in real time with relevant materials (with assistant from all sales functions), including awards, customer testimonials, case studies, professional imagery and any relevant market information - Investigate SEO and prepare recommendations to the Sales Director on ways to improve this. - Manage efforts in building online reviews and reputation. Monitor online reviews and respond to each review - Monitor and update Social Media sites including Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin with relevant content on a bi-daily basis. - Track traffic to the website following any large launch, press release etc and report findings to the Sales Director. Manage and co-ordinate group events - Work with the Sales Director to agree a number of targeted events per year. These will vary in scale (likely to be two large and two small). Arrange venue, keynote speakers and budget and perform front of house duties. - Liaise with sales team and confirm attendance of responses. - Gather feedback following the event and prepare analysis for the Sales Director. - Prepare mailshots for the sales team prior to any event and present it to them ahead of time. Competencies: - Good degree of marketing expertise - Preferably 2-3 years of experience in a similar role. Professional Marketing qualifications are not a must but would be a nice to have. Digital by default - Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios. - Enjoys a working knowledge of the blogging ecosystem relevant to the company's field. - Highly knowledgeable in the principles of "Search and Social." Self-starter - Able to work independently on tasks and provide expert analysis to the Board of Directors. - Will have the ability to help shape marketing direction of the business. Clear communicator - Able to communicate groups core services and values to the wider world and convert some complex ideas/products into digestible bite sized chunks to be consumed on social media/website. Able to articulate marketing plan of action to the Board of Directors.
