Responsibilities of the Team Leader Apprentice: - To ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the department, and to deal with any problems or incidents in a timely manner and within the required procedure guidelines escalating any issues to your line manager - Responsible for supporting the smooth, safe and uninterrupted flow of vehicles through all auctions in lot number order whilst considering pre-sale, sale and post-sale logistics of the centre - Responsible for supporting the accurate set up of sales in line with vendor SLA's taking into consideration customer expectations and ad-hoc requirements - Supporting charity / specialist sales in order to meet customer and branch requirements - To ensure the yard is presentable at all times so that it meets HSE requirements and gives a good impression to our customers - To be the first point of contact for the yard team and provide effective communication and support people management tasks i.e. Performance Reviews, Return to Work and Investigations - To ensure the team are working to a high standard whilst maintaining safety levels and customer service standards Requirements of the Team Leader Apprentice: - Ability to support, develop, lead and motivate a team to perform at their best and achieve great results - Ability to multitask; delegating tasks and ensuring successful completion - Experience of working within a KPI driven environment and successfully meeting SLA's and KPI's - Experience of working within a fast paced environment and to tight deadlines - Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide feedback effectively - Excellent customer service skills - Flexibility, initiative and the ability to react to an ever changing environment - Ability to follow rigid policies and procedures and work in line with HSE legislation - Strong IT skills in Excel and Word with the ability to understand data to drive performance Benefits: Excellent opportunity to become part of a growing international organisation.
