Primary SEN Teaching Assistant Are you a Psychology graduate looking to build your school based experience, working as a Teaching Assistant for the full academic year? We are looking for an ambitious Psychology graduate who is passionate about supporting children with Special Education Needs (SEN). Working 1:1 with a children who need supporting can at times be a challenging task, so you must have a resilient personality and a genuine passion for education. If you have completed modules/placements at university and have an understanding of developmental disorders this would be beneficial. As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will receive support from the dedicated and experienced SENCo to ensure that your personal development and skill set is being recognised! You will support the class teacher and specifically support children who may have ASD or EBD. You will work with children 1:1 and use your expert knowledge and the schools resource's to ensure the pupil is making steady progress. You will liaise with parents and the class teacher so good communication skills are essential.
